How do you Sync your Gmail contacts with a Windows Mobile

The process of manually entering your Gmail contacts in the address book of your Windows Mobile smartphone can be time consuming. In fact, this process even more frustrating if you regularly move from one device to another. Fortunately, the sync option in most smartphones, including Windows Mobile devices, makes it easier for you to use your Gmail contacts for different platforms. In Windows Mobile devices, this option made possible by Google Sync. Google recommends to make sure that you back up all contacts and calendars from your phone to your computer before continuing.

1. Start the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync application on the Home screen of your Windows Mobile device.

2. Choose "Set your device to sync", "m.google.com" in the "Server Address" field, select "This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)" and choose "Next."

3. Enter your Gmail credentials in the "User Name" and "Password" box, leave the "domain" box unchanged. If an error occurs due to the abandonment of the "Domain" field is blank, enter "Google" box.

4. Select "Next", select the "Contacts", click "Finish" and then click the "Sync" softkey. You have enabled the synchronization of your Gmail contacts on your Windows Mobile device.
When turning on my monitor the Acer name appears then disappears and a box that reads "no signal" appears. Then the screen goes blank and the blue power button turns yellow.

This means that your monitor is not receiving a signal from your computer. The easiest way to fix this is to plug the monitor into the computer. I hope this helps and have a nice day!

Created a 300 picture slide show on my pc. the screen will go blank after 30 minutes and i have to hit the return key or touch the pad. Is this a sleep setting issue or kodak?

I suspect you have a screen saver set up that blanks the computer screen after 30 minutes.
If you are running Window XP, right-click your mouse on the desktop, choose Properties, from the Display Properties dialog, click the Screen Saver tab, then in the Wait box, increase the amount of time before the screen saver activates. Click the OK button when you are through.
Good luck,

Monitor displays breifly then goes to blank screen

If tried the monitor on two other computers with the same result -- definitly your monitor is faulty. Take it to the repair shop. To make double sure, run your computer with another monitor. If everything is fine now; you can blame the monitor.

Monitor won't stay on. Error message comes up that says "no input signal", then monitor goes out.

Problem with the monitor, monitor cable, or video output. For monitor, if you have more than one input, make sure it's set to the correct one. Try a different cable. Try a different monitor. Check your video card settings--if you see the BIOS bootup screen while it's coming up then the Windows splash screen, then monitor blanks out, it's a Windows display setting. Boot into safe mode, then change settings--
 • Turn the computer on or Restart the computer
 • Start tapping the F8 key. The Windows Advanced Boot Options Menu appears. If you begin tapping the F8 key too soon, some computers display a "keyboard error" message. To resolve this, restart the computer and try again.
 • Ensure that the Safe mode option is selected (the top option)
 • Press Enter. The computer then begins to start in Safe mode.
 • When you are finished with troubleshooting, close all programs and restart the computer as you normally would.
