Question about ASUS M2400N Notebook
Try downloading and installing the ATKACPI driver then the Powergear utility from the ASUS support website. Make sure you get the drivers for the M2N(NB), not any other notebook under the M2000N series. The autoupdater program on the website is unreliable, use the drop-down menus to choose. The drivers are found under Utilities. The site is really slow too...
After rebooting, this should let you pick "Super Performance" in the Powergear utility and if the screen doesn't brighten automatically, Fn+F6 should work.
