Question about Televison & Video
My tv screen shakes violently after about an hour or so of being turned on ,why ?and how do i fix it ?
This can be from the power supply section or from the some of the clocking circuits. This is not something you can fix at home. The obvious thing is that there are some components that have become thermo sensitive, and that is why the fault happens after the set is on for a while.
The factory service rep will fix the set by swapping out the defective boards for new ones. There is very little factory support, if any at all, for component level service on these boards.
Sometimes the fault may be a standard type generic part. But, this can take hours of work to locate, if in actual fact this is the case. The time spent just to find out may be worth more than having a defective board changed.
