Sounds to me like one of the components on the main power supply board is faulty. Check for any of the capacitors that have mushroomed up. The capacitors look like little cylinders coming out of the board. If you do see one with a domed top, than the cap is bad - replace it. That does take some soldering, but the parts are normally fairly cheap ( $5-10 ) per capacitor. Hope this helps

Fault to the main power supply regulator section. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

I have 2 lights in the midle of the room single swich I would like to install a second swich in a different position thank You in anticipation Pat Tavani

You must have two wires connection between two switch. Power supply (hot wire) must going to first switch. It is like you have one road. Then you have 'crossroads' and two wire. It is going to another switch. There is another 'crossroads' on that switch and two path became one road (electric). After that switch your wire going to bulb. Of course, second connection of bulb going to power supply (not hot wire). Switches gas one middle (main) point and two output. It has three connection (like road crossroad with main road and two way from it). It look like this:

26la30q wont turn on

Hi
You have to start checkin from its main ON/OFF switch itself. If the switch have any contact contact trouble, the set will not turn On, even though you hear the click sound from the switch. If switch is Ok, then you have to come to the power supply regulator board. It can be easly recogonized the powe supply regulator boad. The main supply line will go straight to it. There will be more that 5 or mor secondary voltages from it, according to Tv model. These secondary wupplies will energzed only after the power supply switching circuit work properly.
Ther is a fuse [ a cartridge type; replaceable]. Check the fuse first. If it has blown; be carefull when you replace it; because there must be some reason for the blowing of that fuse. It is really a protection device. Before replacing it, you have to check the entire power supply board for some short circuit. If you have sound knoledge in repairing Switched Mode Power Supply [SMPS]; just proceed. Otherwise get it repaired by any experienced service technican or by authorised service center for Proscan. OK.

My sanyo tv model CE32LD81-B is currently on standby but i cant switch it on with or without a remote i think it may have been blocked

I think it has a power supply fault. The standby power supply is a small, separate supply from the main power supply.
I hope that helps.
