Question about Televison & Video
Sounds to me like one of the components on the main power supply board is faulty. Check for any of the capacitors that have mushroomed up. The capacitors look like little cylinders coming out of the board. If you do see one with a domed top, than the cap is bad - replace it. That does take some soldering, but the parts are normally fairly cheap ( $5-10 ) per capacitor. Hope this helps
