SOURCE: accidentally deleted my norton internet

You have two solutions for this problem.
One is to set up your windows to a previous configuration (this may not work if you didn't choose to save a previous configuration)
One is to install again the software you accidentally deleted

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Norton has a habit of being so good that it interferes with some normal activities. Should you wish to uninstall a Norton product and if at all possible, download and run the Norton Removal Tool. Below listed are the default program folder names and locations listed by program:

  • C:Program FilesNorton SystemWorks
It would help to configure Windows to show all files.
  • Click on "Windows Key" and select Control Panel
  • Double click on Folder options.
  • Click on View Tab
  • Un-check "Hide file extensions for known file types."
  • Under the "Hidden files" folder, click "Show hidden files and folders."

and delete all the 3 folders.

Finish by cleaning up the Registry:
