Hello

Check the games video reqirements on the box or folder it came with.Sounds like your resoulution is off on your pc.

Go to control panel, personalize, display settings,Set the slider all the way to the right.Hit apply then reboot.

If this does not help check that the video options in the game itsself are set to you monitors settings. You may also need to update your video device drivers.

I've installed Cossacks (the Art of War) in Windows 7 Professional. HP-Pavilion Slimline s5710F. The game come up with double vision still can't play, everythink runs together.

You need to change your screen resolution to 1048X760 to work. And also if possible change your vga/hdmi card to more memory at least 64mb card. Then remove any video sharing on your bios. Hope this help.

I think there is a form of copy protection that installs a driver onto your computer. It was originally designed to be used on Windows XP only. In order to fix this issue, you'll need to contact the game developer for an update or patch that allows you to install the game. There is no other work-around for this, because Starforce contains a driver that Vista will not accept because it is built for another operating system. Starforce protected games are well known to be one of very few XP titles that will not work on Vista without an update or patch, due to its design.

How to start TalsonSoft Operational Art of War 2

Did you check under c:/program files? In the Art of war 2 folder there should be a Art of war 2 application file (should be a small file under 1mb) double click that and if it works copy and place on desktop. Also check in your start menu games folder. Note if you have a Program files (x86) folder it will be there. Good luck

I have windows 7 installed on my pc.i installed cossacks II napoleonic wars properly, and when i try to start the game,i get information that the game can run only on older versions on windows (95,98 XP )....

Well, try this, we call this "compatibility" mode, most programs can be run on windows 7 with this trick.
I assume your Cossacks II Napoleonic Wars icon is on the Desktop,
Right-click the Icon (game's icon), select "Properties" and click "Compatibility" tab, select "Run this program in compatibility mode for" click the "Windows 95..." and select "Windows Xp (Service pack 2)", click "Apply" > "Ok" and try again.

If even after doing this, the game can't be played, then there's no option. The fact is that, this game is made to run on system with Windows xp and earlier version, but somehow if fortunate, it's possible, not will all software, some may work, some may not.

      Good luck.
