Neither the freezer or fridge get cold. In fact, both compartments are warmer the room temp. The light comedy on and you can hear it run but you can hear a click like the compressor is trying to kick on. Is there a fuse or rely that can be replaced?

The clicking is the compressor overload tripping. you can try a relay kit part number RCO410 available at any appliance parts supplier. this replaces the relay, overload and start capacitor. you might want to check continuity on the compressor terminals first and check for a short to ground. If shorted or open then the compressor is bad.

GE monogram refrigerator too cold

There is a balance between the freezer and fridge. Reduce the freezer temp and see what the fridge temp does. By reduce I
mean make the freezer warmer. If it is set too cold the fridge gets colder.

Kelvinator fridge not cooling

Try defrosting the fridge. Check the cold plate at the back of the food compartment once the fridge has been defrosted and turned back on again. The cold plate in the freezer (around the walls) will be cold to touch as will the cold plate at the back of the fridge,

Only one temperature control??

Good day,
Yes, they are made. The temperature in the fresh compartment will be no issue, since you have control in that compartment.
The engineers designed the balance between the two compartments so the freezer would be normal if the following conditions applied.
1. The room temperature is between 70 and 90 degrees.
2. The machine has normal usage. I.E. 8 to 20 door openings of the fresh food door.
The freezer would start getting warmer if the room temperature dropped much below 70 degrees. or..
If the machine had extremely light usage with very few
door openings, or a combination of both situations described above.

With dual controls, and both set at normal, the above conditions would occur anyway, except you could over ride the normal settings to compensate.

Many people have this setup, and experience little trouble, but without knowing your life style replacing it would be your choice based on the facts given.

Freezer works, fridge doesn't

The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent(damper) between the freezer and fridge. The fan in the freezer blows air through it. Make sure this fan is running. You may have to hold the door switch in for it to run. There is a flap you adjust with the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the fridge temp.
The problem could be the electronic control if you have one or the mechanical linkages.

Kenmore refridge/freezer just stops working. I

. Cut everything off for a few minutes then turn it back on and listen for a click from the compressor relay as the compressor tries to start.
Is the compressor motor running. If no check starter/overload relay.
Check to see if the condenser fan at the back underneath near the compressor is running. If no check fan.

Are the condenser coils near there warm or room temp. should be warm

Much cheaper to have soneone look at it. Because if you trash this one it will cost you a whole lot more than a service call

Freezer and fresh food compartment are warm.

The fridge thermostat is faulty and not cutting in at the required temperature. Fridge stats are not easy to test, so the best way is to bypass the stat to see if the compressor starts. To bypass the stat first unplug the appliance and remove the stat housing from inside the fridge compartment, once you have removed the housing you will see the stat inside. Some stats have 2 terminals some have 3, whatever yours has you will need to connect the compressor wire ( Black) to the live wire (Red or White). When you have bypassed the stat plug the appliance back in and switch on, if the fridge starts up and runs ok you will need to purchase a new stat.
