This should be your download. Click on the link above and enter your operating system,ie; Widows Vista 64 bit, etc. and ckick search. Can you still operate your system? You will have to uninstall all prior software concerning you Sapphire card before installing new software. Please give me feedback through "add a comment" at end of solution.

You may want to do a "system Restore" back to before your upgrade.

I feel uninstall is your best first step. Click "start", find "control panel" and click on that to open. Find "Programs and Features" and right click on ad open. You should see ATI catalyst install manager. Right click on that anda window should come u, click next. Another window should come up with optons. select "express uninstall" remove all ATI software". Allow any action windows that come up. At the end, click on finish and allow restart. Let me know how ths goes.

Will the asus p5d2v mx se motherboard support tha Ati hd 5670?

The PCIE slot on your mainboard is v1.0; this should work fine with a PCIE v2.0 card (which is backwards-compatible with v1.0), but not the v2.1 cards. Make sure you also check for power requirements of any potential card. If your PC has a stock PSU, it's quite likely that a PSU upgrade will also be needed.

Start by checking out the ATI website and looking for known problems. ATI is very good about posting known problems with specific mixes of hardware and software, especially concerning motherboard issues...BTW- EXCELLENT VGA card you have there!!!!!!
If you cannot find anything on the ATI website that fixes your problem, you need to go through what can be very tedious .... using the Windows Task Manager to shut down one task at a time until you find the program that is hanging up on shutdown. Kill one running task at a time and then try a shutdown until you isolate the program that is causing your system to hang.
Once you isolate the program that is hanging up your shutdown, you may want to consider deleting it and then reinstalling after a re-boot. This should clean up your windows registry enough to allow a proper shutdown. If not, repost your problem on FixYa with details about what programs are running when you try to shut down and we will try again to help you fix it.

P5gpl-x VGA driver

The P5GPL-X ASUS motherboard does not come with an integrated graphics adapter.

So, it is necessary to know what video card are you using with this product, in order to find a suitable driver for it.

Sending us the VGA card brand name and model will help us find a driver that is suitable to your card.

Hope this info may help you!

For ASUS A8V-MX Motherboard which graphics card should use

This Motherboard has onboard VGA, but if you want to upgrade the expansion slot is a AGP. so you will have to purchase a AGP VGA card. ATi or Nvidia would be good enough.
