Question about Intel Motherboard

Computer problem!? Hello there, hope you are well :-) Please can you help? I had no power at all when i switched on my PC and was advised that i probably needed a new power supply, so, i brought a new one (same wattage etc), and i still have nothing happening. Could it be the mother board and is there any way i can test it?? Many Thanks in advance :-)

Hello i have the problem that my laptop battery is showing that "31% available ( plugged in, not charging) . but when i remove my ac adopter from my laptop it suddernly switch off . what is the...

Try this:
  • Turn the computer off
  • Unplug the computer
  • Remove the battery
  • Plug in the power cord
  • Power on the computer
If it powers up, you have a battery problem; It is either the battery or the charging circuit. Replacing the battery is easy and not too expensive. Fixing the charging circuit on a laptop is not economical.

Hope this helps. I do this for fun & 4 thumb feedback, not $$$

Hello,

These monitors use an external power adapter that plugs into the VGA plug. Look at the the VGA plug that goes to the computer, it has a small round power socket on the back of the plug. Here is a link to a power adapter that will work with the unit.

Ok power went off but now my emachine wont turn on the switch just lights up for an sec or two, please help

Hello,

I would suggest that you try and check the system with another power pack,

just to be sure that it is not the power supply that is faulty.

This is because what you have describe here is one of the symptoms of a failing power supply,

and It is not always advisable to take a power supply case lightly,

and when it is detected that its the one that is faulty, Just change the power pack OUTRIGHT!

and please don't think of repairing it.

It is not always expensive though, as compared to if your whole system now starts to develop fault because of it.

Hope this helps you out.

Goodluck.
