You don't free up memory on your DS Lite, you free up memory on your Action Replay. Just go through your code manager on your computer and delete the games that you don't need. Datel gives you hundreds of games for codes, and you only need about 10, 15, 20 (however many games you've got)

Just keep the codes for the games you have and delete the codes on your DS for the games you don't have. This will significantly free up memory on your Action Replay

Hello dijanilaplac,

There can be many problems with your Action Replay DS. Try taking the Action Replay out of your Nintendo DS Lite Console, and look at the part those goes into the DS. Make sure nothing is bent, or missing. If something is, it might mean you may have to have it repaired, or replaced. Also keep in mind that sometimes Action Replays can be sensetive, so don't move it around while playing, or it may cause your DS to freeze up.

If you just bought this Action Replay recently, it should have been supplied with a CD to insert into your computer. You should install Action Replay onto your computer. When you have been brought to the main Action Replay Code Manager, find your USB and Action Replay plug in. Plug the small end into the top of the Action Replay cartridge, and the USB into the computer. Now a New Hardware wizard should have popped up on your computer.

When prompt, select, "Install from specific location.", then click next. Then select Search from CD-ROM. Sometimes it may sound different, just select the one that says something about searching from a CD-ROM. After this has completed, reset your Action Replay.

If the problem persists, feel free to contact me, for questions, or replies.
Nate,

Map was erased!

Well you need to call Nintendo Inc. and send them your game, then just only use an Action Replay 20 times then through it out of it will mess up your game or even your DS.

What does it mean when action replay is unable to download codes because it does not have enough space to write a file?

sounds like your action replay device might be to full, try deleting some files off of there to free up some space and then try to download again.

I cant play any ds games on my ds because it wont read ds games

Thats why, sometimes Action Replay will crash a game.  Usually it means you have too many codes on and need to turn some of them off.

Freeing up memeory on ds lite

To free up memory on your Action Replay, just delete the codes of games that you don't have either through the DS or the Code Manager. CodeJunkies gives you hundreds of games/codes, I only have ten games (give or take a few), which means the other 90-some games are just sitting there hogging space
