Not clear on how to search and store radio frequencies manually in my Kenwood kdc-bt6544u car audio player. can i jump to a specific time in audio or do i have to hold the FF or RW till i get there? not...

Some makers are different.Usually if you hold down the search button long enough,it will switch to autosearch. There should be numbered buttons on the face of the stereo too right?Tune in to the channel you want to preset, press and hold down the number you want it to be.The sound will probably cut out for a couple of seconds, then when it comes back on the channel is preset.Once you set 6 on FM,if you press the band button again,it should give you the capability of presetting 6 more.If it goes to AM just press band once more and it will give you 6 new FM.Usually current radios give 6 AM possible, and 3 separate bands of FM for a total of 18 FM possible.Good luck! Don't have a manual or the remote for KLH audio video receiver model r5100. Cannot figure out how to program the presets on the am/fm radio. Can someone tell me how or do I have to have a rermote to...

There should be numbered buttons on the receiver.Set the channel to what you want to preset, then press and hold down the numbered button you want. The sound will probably go away for a couple of seconds but when it comes back on the channel is preset. If you press the band button while you're already on FM and it goes to another FM,you can also preset more channels for FM.There should only be one AM band, then it will switch back to FM.
Good luck! Greg

Radio for Sandisk model SDMX1

Press the AB button to toggle between Audio Play, Radio, and Voice Record. Use the left/right scroll to highlight Radio. Then press the center button or play/pause button once to select radio.

You will see FM Radio in the upper left corner of the display. Under that you will see either Preset followed by a number OR Channel. If it is on Preset, you can use the left/right scroll to switch between preset stations. If you press and hold the AB button, the player will scan through all frequencies to find the strongest stations in your area and set those as the default preset stations. When on a particular station, press and hold the record button to delete that station from your presets.

Press the center button once to switch to Channel (or back to Preset). Under Channel, you can manually scroll through the frequencies yourself. Push left or right and hold for about a second to find the next available station.

Press the play/pause button once to toggle between Mono and Stereo.

Those are all the functions I've found so far. Hope it helps.

Good luck,
vw

Most times it goes like this:

find your station by manually searching the frequency. When found, press the memory button and in your display the word memory will flash. than press the number you want it stored under and hold it pressed untill the flashing stops.

Other option:
once station is selected, press the preset number and hold it untill you hear a beep or, if the number flashes on your display, it stops flashing.
often you have the possibility to store aprx 10 presets on 1 band, by seleting the band you get new presets for each band, geeting in total 40 preset possibilities.

Let me know if this solved your problem.

How to pre set satitions

Your Sony is equiped for 5 AM presets and 15 FM presets.

1. Power your unit "ON".
2. Set the desired band - AM or FM.
3. Hold the "Mode" button down no more than one second. The "preset" indication just be gone.
4. Manually tune in the desired station you want to preset.
5. Hold "Enter" until preset indication re-appears. The number of the preset should be blinking.
6. Using the tuning buttons, change the the number to your desired "preset" number.
7. Push the "Enter" button to set the preset.

Remember, you can't have more than 5 AM presets (a mistake I made).
