SOURCE: brivis buffalo 85 EMS .

Hi redrosebulld,

If the EPRL light still flashes most likely the thermocouple has worn out. The thermocouple is a safety device which stops the gas from flowing. I will recommend to consult an authorized repairman to check the thermocouple and also the injector.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Can we turn the heat off 2-3 rooms with this brivis wombat 92 gas heating system - heating just the parts of the house we choose.

You could freeze water pipes if bathrooms are connected to those rooms - on a cold winter day (depending where you are). All gas appliances should have a shutoff valve. Shutting that off may screw up the main controller - it won't get the proper signal that the flame started ok.

Brivis multiplex he20e

MPS HE20E is a gas heater. So the unit should need a pilot to be re-ignited. This will happen automatically once you press the ON button on the controller. Assuming the gas supply is normal this should happen immediately. The unit attempts re-ignition 4 to 5 times but if the pilot does not turn on it will display an error code on the controller. Take extreme precautions when dealing with gas appliances. Make sure you call a technician if unsure.
