Remove cover at rear of oven compartment, there you will see the element.
Undo fixing screw(s), carefully pull the element towards you, remove wires, be careful not to lose them inside ,and fit onto new element.
Refit element and rear cover.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

If it is fan assisted, and the fan is working o/k, then the chances are it is the element.
This is usually located at the rear of the oven compartment behind a removeable cover.
Normally a straightforward repair

MAKE SURE POWER IS OFF !!!!

Whirlpool YWFE710H0BS0 oven no longer heats up.

Check the elements for continuity with a multimeter. Sometimes the connectors draw too much current and can burn out as well. Both are easy tests. A runaway temperature can make elements fail because there is no thermostatic control, they just glow bright yellow..

Whirlpool built in electric oven bake (bottom)heating element does not heat up only tot heats when in bake mode

CHECK FOR CRACKS IN THE BAKE ELEMENT. IF THE UNIT IS NOT HEATING THE BOTTOM, BUT THE TOP IS STILL HEATING, YOU MORE THAN LIKELY HAVE TO REPLACE THE ELEMENT. THIS IS A 220 VOLT OVEN WITH 110 VOLTS ALWAYS GOING TO THIS ELEMENT, SO TURNING OF THE BREAKER IS VITAL FOR SAFETY PURPOSES. WITH AN OHM METER, UNINSTALL THE ELEMENT AND CHECK BOTH WIRE CONNECTIONS FOR OHMS. YOU SHOULD GET SOME KIND OF READING BETWEEN 10 OHMS AND 500 OHMS. IF YOU'RE NOT AT LEAST GETTING A SOLID READING, REPLACE THIS ELEMENT.

Whirlpool oven will not pre-heat properly

There is an element that circles the rear fan, this is the common element and the most powerful.
Once you have the lid off, it's quick to test continuity on all elements.
Hope this helps

Whirlpool oven heating element

Are you trying to replace the stove top element, or oven element? For the stove top element, just lift up the side opposite where it plugs in and pull straight out.

The oven element usually have one or two screws holding a plate in near where the elements go into the back of the oven. Remove the screws and pull straight out. Reverse the procedure to install a new element. The top broil element will be secured in with a couple brackets to hold it up, these must be unscrewed, removed, and then pull the broil element out.

Remember to turn off power to the range before replacing any of the elements.
