Actually what i can suggest is that for you to try printing from a different application, such as microsoft word or paint. try printng a landscape image. now if its going to print it correctly call adobe since that might be an application issue. thanks for using fixya!!

It sounds like a buffer overun problem. Try reducing the resolution of your graphics. Have you contacted Adobe? You have one year free technical support with the software, I believe.

In Indesign CS4, choose File -> Save As.
Choose "InDesign CS3 Interchange".
Your friend may have to update his CS3 to open the exported INX file.

Pagemaker to InDesign is not an exact process. You are going to have to put some work into the converted file. The important thing to maintain in PageMaker to make a clean transition, is to make sure the PM file is PRISTINE. All the links in the Links Palette are current, al fonts for the file are loaded. Delete any unused colors, just clean the file up. The more clean the file, the cleaner the transition.
No matter how clean the file is, there are going to be things you are going to HAVE to fix. You are going from an app that has not been supported for over a decade into the latest and greatest, InDesign. Be patient and be glad at least you can get the PM file into something usable instead of having to rebuild it entirely.
Hope this helps.
