Always get your drivers and specific software from the manufacturer of your Laptop, Notebook or Desktop. They are usually free of charge.

If you were to log on to the www.ibm.com web site, usually one is able to download if available, by model number, All available Driver downloads as required.

If the driver is not available, perhaps your manufacturer does not support the OS you are installing.

This is the best way of ensuring up to date drivers for your system and they are free of charge!

I hope this helps.

Free download acer travelmate 4050 serios cl51 drivers

Hello,

The only drivers available for this laptop are for Windows XP.

You can download these drivers directlyu from Acer:
http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers

From this page, choose "Notebook" then choose "TravelMate" then "TravelMate 4050"

You will see that Windows XP is the only operating system selected, and Windows Vista and Windows 7 are not selectable.

The two choices for Windows XP are XP Home Edition( 32 bit) and XP Professional Edition( 32 bit)

The drivers listed here are for:
Intel Chipset
Realtek Audio
ENE Cardbus
SMSC FIR( (Fast InfraRed) A high-speed IrDA protocol with data rates up to 4 Mpbs.)
RealTek LAN
Agere Modem

I installed windows 7 on my acer 5610 and all my buttens stop working

Hi Thophilip ,

It means that you still have to download the drivers for that laptop to work with Windows 7.
Windows seven has bunch of default drivers for most of the devices available on the market but not all of them, specially the proprietary laptop buttons.
I checked for driver for windows seven but I can't find any
-the best thing is try using the vista drivers
-most vista drivers will work with windows seven
-if it does not work, use the compatibility mode

32-BIT Vista Drivers
Chipset - Intel
Audio - Realtek
Bluetooth - Broadcom
Camera - Bison
Camera - Logitech
Camera - Suyin
Card Reader - ENE
FIR - SMSC

Broadcom Lan Drivers (v8.48.0.0)

Message problem

try restoring ur mobile to: Manufacturer's settings,
remove, the smsc no(of course, write it down in paper) in message -->settings., restart ur mobile.
(if deleting doesn't work, give a dummy no as smsc no. and select it as primary, delete the default one , and restart.)

it will mostly solve the prob. then restore the smsc no with origiunal no (which is already written on paper)and again restart ur mobile.!!!
if it didn't , ":-)"

probably your smsc number is not correct.

You can find it in 'messages' -> settings
Every provider has its own smsc number. You can aslo check the manual from your phone how to change it. And check your telecom provider website for the smsc number.

No power-up only the little green light by the cpu lights up

I tried Parveens solution for this problem on 2 absolutely dead D845GVSR mother boards and it fixed the problem for me on both. On mine you had to permanantly short pins 92 & 93 of the LPC47M172 IC near the ddr ram slots.

There must be a reason for why the motherboard went dead in the first place because from the factory, pins 92 & 93 of this IC are not meant to be shorted. Albeit the motherboards work perfectly the shorting of pins on this IC get over the problem but the original fault is still really there but has been bypassed! Still having said that, what a result!
