Question about Cameras
There are two ways:
1) Connecting the camera (or the mobile phone) to the computer. You will surely need a USB cable. The most common cables used for cameras are the following:
Most cameras do not require software. Once the camera is connected you will get the camera displayed as external disk in My Computer (Windows). In there open the disk, locate the pictures, and copy and paste the pictures into a folder on your hard drive.
Some model requires additional software. In that case the software can be downloaded from the manufacturer website.
2) An alternative way to download the pictures is by extracting the memory card from camera, and then using a card reader to access and copy the files.
Once again the SD card will be displayed as external disk in My Computer (Windows). You open the disk, locate the pictures, and copy and paste the pictures into a folder on your hard drive.
If your computer does not have built-in card reader, here a multiple format USB card reader:IOGEAR 12-in-1 Pocket
