Question about ASUS F8 Series Laptop Charger (1300745LMD0019599)

2 Answers

Hi. I'm having trouble finding a charger for my ASUS F8S laptop. I purchased an aftermarket DeltaElectronicsInc charger for it recently that lasted 2 weeks before failing (it had the same input/output specs as the original). An ASUS expert has told me that these laptops need genuine chargers, no surprises there; however im having trouble locating and identifying said genuine charger. Please HELP!! Thank you, John Morton.

My ASUS K52 battery is at 58% and not charging why ?

Is this an ASUS charger and battery? Some ASUS laptops will not charge after a certain charge is reached, but it's usually in the 95-100% range to prevent overcharging.

If you bought an aftermarket charger, it may very well not have the amperage to charge while running the laptop.

96% plugged in, not charging Hi all, my Asus

Laptop battery do have a specific lifespan, specially for older units. Still, you can check that your charger are working properly, using a voltmeter (do check the outer label of the charger for actual voltage output).

How to format a asus laptop f8s series

You'll need either a boot disk to do an FDISK and FORMAT, or the original installation disks that came with your laptop. Preferbably either Windows XP or Windows Vista discs, whichever one came with your laptop if you have them. Just boot up off of the CD by going into the BIOS and making sure the cd-rom is the first boot device.

Probably you damaged the motherboard with an incompatible charger, You are very likely to need to have it replaced and to buy a fujitsu spare charger or at least an aftermarket compatible one...the charger might have broke instead because of overheating caused by the higher load, but cannot be sure about it because you didn't post full specs.

SWITCH PROBLEMS A trick can be done here. Unplug it then spray the switch (Soaked) with warm distilled water with mild soap. then let it dry using a Hair Dryer. Then test! If failed, Replace the switch. If Persists then There is a problem with the Main Board or Power Driver. ====================== If you are having trouble with Newly bought items save your self from headaches by returning them and demand a replacement or a refund! You may have purchased a reconditioned\repaired\factory defect product.
