Question about Evenflo Embrace

1 Answer

We're having trouble installing the Embrace Infant Car Seat 5391732 - Evenflo Eurotrek Travel System into our Audi sedan. Although we double belted it at the foot end, the base seems to just rock back and forth and the head end easily flips up so the baby is not secure. Are there cars that a rear-facing infant seat should not go in? Are there online installation instructions we could access?

we are having trouble securing the evenflo base to our back seat. The base is not secure, it keeps rocking back and forth and the front tilts forward.

I had the same problem in my 240sx Nissan, I was told that because of the dip in the seat it was impossible to fasten it down properly so I went to one of those help for car seat classes that the police help you with and they told me just to take a towel and tightly roll it up and put in the dip of the seat, then fasten the base down! Hope this helps you!

We reinstalled our Evenflo car seat and now baby's head flops forward. How can we fix this?

First check the settings on the car base. Usually there are 3 settings so most likely the setting you adjusted it to is too high for your baby. You have to remove the baby form the car seat (smile), check the setting level (at the front of the car seat) and adjust accordingly. Good luck i hope this helps!

Evenflo Embrace Backwards Buckle.

There's no way to fix it and Evenflo will not refund it if you're outside of warranty. We had the same problem. I think they need to be held accountable for a faulty product and stand behind it.
