Is your Micro USB cable a "B" or "A"?Micro USB "B" is for data/charging.
Micro USB "A" is for charging only and will not work for any kind of data transfer (pins not connected).
The connector will be labeled at the micro usb end.
When you plug the cable into your phone a popup will ask you if you want to connect to mass storage. Once you answer yes, you can connect to the phone just like a usb drive.

First thing to do is to safely remove your flash drive..
then insert it again...

If it doesn't work then your final choice is to make loss of your data..
here's how.
on the icon shown from your flash drive right click
then format..
You can select quick format in there..
and there you go again,, you can use your flash drive now....

Hi , My san disk 4gb cruzer micro flash drive has the LED on when i plug it to any computer but doesn't show up on My Computer , Disk management or Device manager . I have tried 3 different desktop...

Files on a flash drive canbe corrupted if it is not removed from the USB port properly.
Before removing the flash drive click on the Safely Remove Hardware icon andthen click on the flash drive you want to remove and then remove the flashdrive when the computer message says it is Safe to remove.
To restore the flash drive to working order you need to format the flash drive,BUT you will lose the data stored on the flash drive.

Ipod doesn?t mount

First, you should download iPodRip off http://www.ipodrip.com/ and backup all of you music ect on your ipod (iPodRip is compatible for Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5). Once you have done this try and reformat the drive through itunes.
Good luck!

Flash Problem

Hey tombston,
An error code of 99 is Canons general error code for this camera, and they suggest cleaning the lens contacts and/or removing the battery and then reinserting it. If this doesn’t work I would try resetting the camera to the default factory settings, and directions on how to do this are on page 35 of your camera manual. If this doesn't work I would have the camera looked at by an authorized service technician. I have included a link to a PDF download of the camera manual in case you need it. I hope this helps!

Flash working inproperly

The battery contacts are not making proper contact to the battery, or there is a cold solder connection in the circuit board inside of the flash unit.

There are photo shops that can have flashes serviced, or you can send the flash to the manufacture service department.

Unless you are able to do electronics service and are used to working on high voltage electronics at the component level I don't recommend opening the flash yourself.

Inside the flash they use very high voltage at very high discharge current. Even though the flash looks innocent and works only on a few simple batteries, this can be dangeriously deceiving. The discharge current can be very high, and the main flash capacitor can hold a lethal charge for many days!

Flash is not working

The flash icon appears in the upper left corner of display or it appears as circled flash icon? If flash is open and appears a circled icon, then there’s a malfunction contact that don’t communicate to the camera that the flash is open. Your camera needs service! Be sure the upper part of the flash is unfolded, pointing directly in front of the camera (not downward), because the sensor is just in this second folder. If the icon is not circled, press the right arrow until only the lightning symbol appears (forced flash). Try a shot! If the flash doesn’t pops, then your camera needs servicing (burned or broken lamp or other malfunctions).
