Question about Audiovox D1708 Portable DVD Player
If you take a look the the following Audiovox link, and enter your model number, it should be able to find a service center near you. Alternatively there is a link there to contact Customer Services who would be able to advise you by email.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

....ok here are some toll-free telephone numbers from Philips:
...you might try "phyllis the online chat" assistant:
...and here is the contact email screen for your DVD player, just ask
them first IF your product was recalled and THEN ask if a local center
near you can help. Japan has some of the better service centers for your area and/or your local center will probably send it there anyway.
