Dear friend
It seems that your charging adapter got a problem. try using a friend's of the same configuration or take you laptop to the computer vendor for the charger. use it for a while before purchasing it.
if your laptop is in warranty then you can go to the service center for a free replacement.
thankyou
Gagan

I need to charge my htc wildfire s phone battery it won't charge it's not the battery or charger it's the socket

Probably you will have to buy an external battery charger that will charge the type of battery the HTC Wildfire is using. But if you upgraded to another HTC phone, maybe the new one is using the same battery as the Wildfire and then you can charge the old battery in the new phone and then use it in the old phone to transfer your contacts to the new phone.

New battery won't charge

There is a chance that the charger is broken. Some batteries need to be jump started (charge it for some hours), especially an old battery (the brand new battery but it does not hold charge for a long time)

Why its battery quickly drains

If the cell phone battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to anunacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

My Acer Laptop is about 3 yrs old and since the last month the battery has been running down within half an hour while in the past it used to last at least for three hours.

Goes from fully charged to almost zero charge in seconds

HI,

Please make sure the charger is working.I suggest you try replacing it with a new charge and then give it a try.The problem can also be with the battery if it is more than 2-3 yrs old.In this case the problem is with the battery.

So i suggest if the battery is more than 3 yrs old buy a new one and then test it with the old charger and if the battery is not old then replace it with a new charger and try charging the battery.

Let me know the result

Battery will not stay charged after being fully charged

Hi,

How old is the battery?
These happen when battery becomes weak/faulty.

If the battery is new, ask for replacement.
If old, time to get new.

Thanks

The charging light flashes alternately in green and red color, charging is not possible.

You have defective batteries. Either they are old and used and can no longer take a charge and should be replaced, or they have a problem not allowing them to be charged.

If batteries are new, seek replacements. If old, time to buy new batteries.

If this happens with several batteries, and even new ones, your charger my be faulty.
