Hi,
The squareroot function is at the "2ndF" of "3".

### Why no parentheses in the following 1/ squareroot of 1/15^2 + 1/20^2 on any other calculator parentheses are needed in excess.

Contrary to what you may be thinking, parentheses are necessary to ensure that calculations are performed as intended. If you were using stacked fractions that may lift some ambiguities, but since you are not using parentheses anything goes.
Here is one interpretation of the expression. I am quite sure you will not be able to find it without inserting the necessary parentheses.

### 2x^2-19x+22

I'm assumeing the problem is 2x^2 - 19x+22 = 0, solve for x.

I don't see any easy to factor this so I'll either need to complete the square or use the quadratic equation.
Using the quadratic equation, where A = 2, B = -19, and C = 22

x = [-(-19) +/- squareroot( 19^2 - 4*2*22)] / (2*2) =
(19 +/- squareroot(185))/4 =

let square root 5 = X and square root 2 = Y

then the equation will be (X+Y) (X - Y)

which is = to X^2 - Y^2

= 5 - 2 = 3 is the answer.
