Question about Gateway FPD1975W 19" LCD Monitor
Try hooking the monitor up to another computer and see if you experience the same problem. If you don't have another computer, attempt to hook up another monitor to the same computer and see if you experience the same problem. If the problem sticks with this and only this monitor, then more than likely you have some bad capacitors in the monitor, which may be replaceable but require a bit of work to fix. Else you may be looking at a new monitor if this isn't under warranty any longer.
If the problem happens with another monitor on this same computer however, it sounds like you have some video card issues and you probably want to look into getting a new one of those.
