Go into printer properties and check to make sure you don't have "black ink only" selected. If that's not the case, use your printer tools to see the estimated ink level for your color cartridge. If not low, try removing the cartridge and and dabbing a wet paper towel over the bottom of the cartridge to see if any ink comes out. Sometimes this will get the ink moving again. Otherwise, replace the color cartridge.

Changing a printer cartridge is not complex but improper handling of the parts may damage the printer and the cartridge. Ok what you need to do is powerdown the printer the pull all ink out of the printer power it on without in then power it down again and replace the cartridges. If this doesnt work go into the control panels and select the color of the ink as only B&W and print a test page
