We installed new ink cartridges blue & Magenta. They have not expired. The printer will not print in color. it does show that all inks are full. I have cleaned the print heads, re aligned the printer and no correction has been made. I have also looked in the manual and there are no troubleshooting answers for this. Please help.

I have the same problem I have cleaned the print head several times. I don't see a cleaning tool on the menu as suggested. I also get horizontal lines equaly spaced but not every time.

HP7780 not printing any color

Go into printer properties and check to make sure you don't have "black ink only" selected. If that's not the case, use your printer tools to see the estimated ink level for your color cartridge. If not low, try removing the cartridge and and dabbing a wet paper towel over the bottom of the cartridge to see if any ink comes out. Sometimes this will get the ink moving again. Otherwise, replace the color cartridge.

I have to ask this question of you, just to make sure this is not an issue. Are you using a factory new ink or toner cartridge?
Please consider the following:
If you are using a refilled or third party cartridges that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks or toner causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead or photo conductors.
If you are using factory new ink or toner cartridges, then please call the manufacturer’s Technical Support for assistance with the warranty on the cartridges

HP officejet pro 8500 ink cartridge problem

Changing a printer cartridge is not complex but improper handling of the parts may damage the printer and the cartridge. If the user notices that while printing the ink comes out dry or faded, it may be time to change the ink or the toner. The user will know if it is time to change the toner because instead of a sharp image, one will get a faded image. It is time to change the ink cartridge when the printing comes out spotty or colors are used to replace others —for instance, blue for black or yellow for red. Remember, faded images signal the need to change the toner; spotty printing signals the need to change the ink cartridge get more help for change cartridge .
Hope this helps you.

Do you mean the ink cartridges or the printheads...

If it's the printheads see this solution:

It it's the cartridges you just open the little door (left/front of the printer), remove the cartridge which is flashing red and then put a new one in the same way.
