Hi doesn't sound good. some times even replacing the connector pin and cleaning the games, gray screen can still happen this could mean that the console is most likely faulty, have had a few cases of this no matter what i do it just stays gray. try and find a replacement console either on line or from the auction sites.

When i start my nes, the screen shows gray

Hi sounds like the common fault found with these old retro consoles. Flashing screen or light Gray screen is common because the system does not make good contact with the game. which may be because of a worn out connector pins in side the console or dirty games recommend cleaning all your games with a game cartridge paste cleaner and replacing the connector pin with a new one. see they carry these items and included photo instructions.

I have changed the pin connector on my nes, it does not flash anymore but now i get a blank screen can someone help me?

First try connecting through the av ports on the side of the console rather than the RF port on the rear of the unit.

If that doesn't work then your problem is likely a loose connection inside, go back in and reassemble.

I have had this issue with several consoles; these two solutions usually take care of it, though in rare cases a defective 72 pin connector was at fault even though it was brand new.

Good luck.

When I turn on my NES all I get is a black screen. Everything is turned on and plugged in the right place. What do I do?

ah the oldie but goodie. turn off the console remove the game blow in the console as well as the game. put the game back in and turn on. if it still doesn't work move the game from side to side just a little bit while pushing in and pressing the reset button it should work fine.

When my nes isnt blinking.....

lol man i used to spend countless hours on my nes just blowing out game cartredges and looking at green screens. Ok there are many things that could be cuasing this problem check the bolts on the bottom of the cartredge to make sure there still shiney, blow the dust out of the cartredge and system, insert the cartredge and press it down turn the system on then while the cartredge is in adjust it and hit reset everytime you do. Like i sad it takes alot of patience to work a NES so just keep at it the game will eventually start if your NES is still in running condition
