Unfortunately, the balance boards are prone to failure. Your choices are to contact Nintendo about repairs (they tend to charge a small fortune) or buy a new one. Repairing this yourself would be difficult because the parts are not easy to get a hold of unless you are a repair shop.

The water light comes on and stops the machine from working even if water is full

There's a float (with a small magnet) in the watertank. This float should go up when the tank is filled with water.
So the float can be stuck in the bottom position, or the sensor doesn't work.
You can test the sensor.
  • Take the left cover off: two screws on the back, slide the cover backwards, then lift the bottom up and pull the toppart out downwards.
  • On the main board there's a plug right at the top, that's the cable from the watertank-sensor. With the watertank removed it shouldn't conduct.
  • Now fill the watertank, check whether the float is going up, put the tank back in the machine.
  • The sensor switch should be conducting now. It it is, then the problem is in the control board.
Hope this helps!

Balance adjust

They balance from the top brackets.
You can adjust it to get it right,it will take a bit of time but it can be done.
Some lgs all have bottom hinge adjustments you can check and adjust these as well.

How to oil brother PE 770

Brother says it should not be oiled but having 14 of those, I know that it has to be done but a Brother technician will not do that. OILING the machine may cause F05 speed sensor error. See how to solve it under this label.

U need to remove the complete front plastic panel. 3 screws on the top (2 lower the handles, 1 at upper right. Remove 1 screw at the center bottom of the rear panel. Remove both left top/ bottom panels (1 screw each) then the horizontal bottom left panle (2 screws). All the balance is fixed with clips.

First undo the 2 clips under the machine than carefully unclip everywhere. Front panel have 2 wire assembly attached to main board. Regular one is easy to remove. To remove the flat one, send down the upper part of the attchment on the main board.

Don't use reg. thin white sewing machine oil, it evaporate. Use SAE 80 (differentail type) oil or something like taht. Lubrificate all 4 lower shaft supports, rotary hook gears and central pin (from the top, under the bobbin case). Then lubrificate all the upper shaf support and especially all the needle bar mechanism. U need a good light to see upper needle bar support. Lower needle bar support support is the most critical point.

Those lights are adding up to a fault code.Add them together across the top from right to left,Only the ones that are on!..Il tell you how..They are binary numbers..eg: 128 64 32 16 8 4 2 1..here are the numbers for each light.Add only the ones that are lit together & you will have your fault code.It will be one of 2 problems.(Out of balance micro switch) in the top right hand side under computer board..OR (Rotor Position Sensor)down on the motor underneath machine, try balance switch first.much cheaper,$15-$20 . Rotor positon sensor about $60-$100.Goodluck!

Wii balance board bottom left sensor not working

Most likley a bad capacitor on the sensor input located on the board. Unsolder the problem sensor, measure accross each individual capacitors (3). Should measure infinity. If not remove capacitor and solder back the sensor. These are high frequency filter capacitors which is not critical to the operation of the board.robicham.pngrobicham.jpg

I got a brand new wii fit balance board and i syncd it, put in the batteries that came with it, (new batteries) put on a cover, and its working fine. about 2 weeks later it was bought, I was playing a game...

According to the Nintendo support site, here's what to do.

Your movements are not being correctly detected
  1. Make sure that the Wii Balance Board is placed properly in front of the TV: The blue power light should be facing away from the TV. If the Wii Balance Board is facing the wrong way, your movements will be reversed.

  2. Check the battery life of the batteries in the Wii Balance Board. If the battery level is low, try a fresh set of batteries.

  3. Check to make sure nothing is pressing against the bottom of the Wii Balance Board. If you do find anything pressing against the bottom (such as carpet), try using the foot extensions.
If the Wii Balance Board is still not correctly detecting your movement, please call 1-800-255-3700 for assistance.

The bolt is right hand thread. I do believe it is adjustable. But you can readjust it if needed after the balance is installed from the bottom.

Top right foot not working

Unfortunately, there is not much that can be done if the sensor has gone bad. Please go to www.nintendo.com if your unit is still under warranty.

If you are using a skin cover on your Wii Fit Balance Board, it's possible that it could be interfering with the movement of the scale. You may want to adjust it so that the top section is not stuck to the bottom section of the board.

Sorry about that. Unfortunately, it seems to be a relatively common problem.
