Since your model Weber grill has crossover electronic ignition. I have to ask, have you changed the battery in the ignitor button/module? If so, is the battery facing the right direction? If the answer is YES to both of these questions, then the electrodes at the burners may be covered with grease and won't spark or the wiring to the electrodes may be loose and it has lost the ground. A cotton ball dipped in alcohol works well to clean the grease from the electrodes. Tracing the wiring will give you an indication on whether the connections are loose.

Hope this helps you solve the problem.

Ignitor isnt working

The oven ignitor should have a resistance reading of about 3.2 to 3.6 ohms. If the readings are out of this specification or show open replace the ignitor. measure the resistance of the oven valve. The gas valve should have about 1.5 ohms of resistance. If the gas valve is OK, the control board is suspect. The ignitor needs 120vac to work.

One of the oven ignitors does not work

Most likely replacing the ignitor will fix it. I usually replace Viking ignitors with Maytag ones, part number 12400035 (you'll need splice wires and use included wire nuts to connect those, though). Those have a little shorter base, which does not affect anything. Replace both bake ignitors if you can, otherwise, one of the burners will ignite slower and shut off faster, resulting in uneven bake.

My Maytag gas range oven is not working. The broiler works okay.

Find the bake ignitor (you may need to remove bottom drawer or oven cavity floor to get to the ignitor). Turn on the bake. If the bake ignitor comes on (starts glowing after a few seconds) - check the amperage on the bake ignitor wires when it's on. If the ignitor is a round style - amperage should be 2.5-3A, if the ignitor is rectangular - 3 - 3.6A. If less than 2.5A or 3A respectively - replace ignitor. If the ignitor does not come on - check the voltage on the ignitor, should be the line voltage 110-120v AC. If there is a line voltage on the ignitor and it's not coming on - replace.
Ignitor part numbers for round style ones: 4342528, WB2X9154, SGR403, 5304401265;
rectangular styles: 12400035, WB13K21, WB2X9998, SGR412, NR020, 5303935066, 814269, 9753108.
Ignitors of the same shape (i.e. rectangular) are interchangeable, if you can splice the wires.

Good luck!

Good luck!

Top oven bake igniter comes on, but gas does not.

Check the voltage on the 2 wires going to the oven gas valve. If you get 120v when the ignitor is on with no gas coming out, you have a bad gas valve. If you get voltage, but it is not much, it is the ignitor. The ignitors don't burn out completely on the ovens, they just get a little dim and no longer ignite the gas and eventually will not turn on the gas valve
