Question about Toshiba Computers & Internet

My daughter said that Toshiba Satellite P105-S9337 laptop made a click sound and shut down and now it doesn't have any picture on the screen at all, just has a very faint glow at the bottom of the screen.Do you think it could be the graphics card? Do I need to send it to Toshiba to fix it, or what should I do ???

This sound mean the fan controler is broken when heat the cpu its computer shutdown mean the cpu broken or main board \\ have many choise to fix him --can replace the cpu and fan

Well, since a laptop doesn't have a mouse, it sounds like you should buy a different mouse.
I personally like a logitec wireless one.

Try hooking your laptop to an external monitor...if the picture comes on then it is an lcd screen problem...if it doesn't come on then re-down load your drivers and see if that solves the problem...if it still doesn't work then you may have a problem with the laptop electronics.

My Problem w/ my Toshiba Satellite P105-S9337 model no. PSPAGU - OOJOOV is it has a strip of white line vertical on the screen and it's about 1" thick? is their a way I can fix this problem?


Connect an external monitor to the VGA port on the computer. If that display is correct, then it's probably the LCD screen on your laptop that is damaged.

Find a computer-store. They may have "pre-owned" LCD screens the same size, for about $100.
A "brand-new" LCD screen is at least $200.

Replacing the LCD screen is *NOT* something that *YOU* can fix, unless you're a qualified technician.

On the top right, change to toshiba worldwide and select the country you bought it in. Not all US laptops are sold worldwide and there are often different models in europe, etc. So change the country and should be able to find the drivers in the support section

4. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the CD/DVD option. Press the Enter key to select it.

5. Follow the instructions on the screen to start the Recovery process.
CAUTION: Once the Recovery process has begun, do not interrupt it.

The computer's hard drive will be formatted, erasing its contents. All of the software that was installed on the computer when it was manufactured will then be re-installed.
6. Once the Recovery process is complete, remove the Recovery disc, and press any key to restart the computer.

  6. check the audio controller and southbridge chips set
