Question about Televison & Video
I think the player may be connected to the TV incorrectly. Some of the video and audio output sockets on this player are for DVD only. If you've connected the player to the TV using connections in the red box, you wont get audio or video from the VCR. You must have a cable from one of the connections in the green boxes to the TV for VCR playback.
Please check you have made a connection from the player to the TV which is suitable for VCR playback. You will also need to select the correct INPUT/SOURCE on the TV. If using the S-Video output, you will also need a separate audio cable from the L/R audio out sockets in the tall green box.
