as long as the freezer is working the air from the freezer will be fan drawn to the fridge area see that you feel the air out of the ducts in back of fridge if not you froze them air ports an will require more work.
usually have to wait about 15 minutes before turning it back on otherwise the compressor will reset itself on and off till you pull the plug out for 15 minutes
Hope this helps. God Bless :O)
I guess you changed the filter with the fridge plugged in, you need to switch off and unplug the fridge, switch off the water. Then switch on the fridge and bleed the water line for 5 second intervals every 5 seconds for 1 to 2 minutes.
That should solve the problem
There is no reset button.
Firstly turn the fridge off at the wall switch. Wait 5 minutes then switch the power back on. If the fridge still does not start then you have a problem with either the fridge electrical circuit has a fault or the circuit board fuse has blown.
damage was caused by electrical problems, you can check from Thermostat, whether still working or not. then check the timer on your fridge, the timer's function is to turn off and turn on the compressor, periodically. and do not forget to check the overload / thermal protector and relay (PTC) attached to the compressor.
Sounds as if you have a power failure. If you are in the UK check the fuse in the plug it may have blown if not check if you have a switch thrown (off). Replace the fuse or reset the switch, if it goes off again you have a fault on the fridge.
it is probably the door switch. I just pulled the switch from a rb2055 and disassembled the switch. one of the contacts is broken.
If you unplug the fridge and plug it back in, the light should work. push in on the switch button with the door open. If the light does not go out, switch is bad.
pry the switch gently out with screwdriver, unplug it and get a replacement.
If you are watching this I can also probably tell you how to jerry-rig it to run while waiting for replacement swicth.
