SOURCE: Cannon Power Shot A520, tried

You can follow these procedure to format the memory card , or download the user manual for the complete instruction , just click HERE then go to page 19 to see the complete details.

Turn camera power on
Press the Menu button and select Set Up Menu using the right arrow button
Then look for Format using the up and down arrow and then press the Set button
Select OK using left and right arrow button and press Set button and once formatting is done Press he Menu button

But if you are unable to format the card using your camera what you can try is to format it using a memory card reader that you can connect the card directly to your computer and do the format from there.

How do you play what you recorded

It is not possible to play directly on this camera as it is an old model.
You should get a cassette player and put the tape in it and connect it to your TV.

I keep getting a msg saying carterage error on my printer

If you DID NOT use a HP cartridge you get the error message.
If you did use a HP cartridge. Unplug the printer. Wait 2 minutes.
Plug in the printer. If same error message. Remove cartridge and reinstall. Make sure no clear tape is left on cartridge contact face.

Low memory msg

Happened to my n73 too. What you have to do is format the phone memory. Back up all memory on the phone to the memory card first before you do so.

To format:
  1. turn phone off.
  2. hold the following keys WHILE its turning back on: (3 + * + green call key)
  3. do not let go until it asks you about your location
Your phone will gain 44mb back and go back to normal. :)

Cassette will not load!

I have one doing the same thing. I called Cannon and the told me I would have to send it in for service. Now after reading that about 10 other folks having the same issue, I think Cannon has some issue with the ZR100.
