To play movies on your PSP you need A Converter

If it's the codec problem I would recommend u to use "Allok 3GP PSP MP4 iPod Video Converter"
Select on Output Format>PSP>PSP AVC-H264(*.MP4)for High Quality
and have the right screen solution settings: "368x208(Full Screen)"
Copy the converted Videos to /PSP/VIDEO.

It must be in a specific MP4 format, a good converter is http://pspvc.nswardh.com/. This will allow you to convert non-compatible videos into a format the psp can read. It must also be in the VIDEO folder on the root of the memory stick, or in /PSP/VIDEO if you have an older firmware.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
