Ge dish washer leaks - Maytag Dishwasher

You should check the water outlet - probably discharges into your sink through a garbage disposal - the water outlet is likely plugged and water can not discharge down the sink. You can remove the hose and clean it out.

Hi Bob sorry to here of your problem , the only thing i can sugest is to remove the two screws at the top of the dish washer they screw into the counter top and pull the
dish washer towards you , it should have long wires and tubeing for the water so that you can pull it out then turn the water back on and see where it is leakingfrom . I would guess the water valve or the tubeing going to or from the water valve pull it out and get back to me i will be on and off here all day let me know what you find Frank

The door switch is bad or the lever is not making contact with the switch.

check the water control valve.That is where the water line connects to the D/W

This sounds like excess soap or not enough water. You may also have really hard water.
Turn on machine wait until it starts running see how much water is inside. there should be a 1/2 to 1" +/- in the bottom but not enough that the wash arm would be touching and not enough that the door would be leaking when you open it. This could also be a circulation problem set wash arms a certain way and observe that they have moved when you open after running for a minute or 2.

Same as above problem: I have had this dishwasher for less than 4 years and the dishes as of about 2 years ago stopped getting cleaned. I use the recommended dish liquid and rinse and lightly clean the dishes before I put them in.
What a piece of junk!! gs

Seals are gone.
Replacement is the only answer.
Repair is not recommended.

look at the spray arms see if they are stopped up look at the little holes in it hot water cleans dishes always make sure you get the water as hot as you can stand it before starting the washer as new washer dont use as much water as older ones so you can fill it with cold water before hot gets to the sink
