Question about Cell Phones

I've bought a used car with fitted Parrot CK3100. When trying to pair with my Nokia 6230i, I manage to locate the Parrot. When I press the 'Pair' command, I'm told to enter the code, but before I can even get a chance to enter it, it says 'Pairing failed'!

I've downloaded Parrot Flash Update Wizard onto my daughter's laptop computer but have no idea how to transmit it to the Parrot! Please make this easy for me - not too hot on computers etc!

Funnily enough whilst awaiting this reply, my daughter discovered the advanced settings option which you advised, and it worked! Suppose I'll have to pay her ?9.99 too! By the way, shouldn't the first expert have given me the same simple advice? Thanks.

Before jumping into updating or flashing the software of the unit we may try few steps to get it working.

try this one:

on the parrot go to settings
advanced settings
pair with phone....

(on your phone...search the parrot.)

set the pairing using the "1234" password.

if that doesn''t work
try to push the red the green and the wheel.(this method will reset the CK1300) whne pushing do not let go until the screen changes display, may take at least 3-5 seconds.

after this try the pairing once again.

hope this helps, good luck

Cannot pair blackberry 8520 with parrot ck3100

I could not pair the Blackberry Curve 8520 with the Parrot CK3100. After looking at the Parrot website, I saw that the Blackberry was actually supported, so it SHOULD work.
Then I found the solution: the Parrot had already too many other phones paired (4 or so), so it could not pair an additional one. After removing the other phones from the Parrot pairing list, the Blackberry paired without a problem. SOLVED!

Hi, I got a problem with Nokia E72 and Parrot CK3100 it keeps conecting and disconecting.

If you want to find out, you will have to use the menu of the kit to pair the phone into (settings -> advanced settings -> pair with phone and then you will have a list of menu. I will advising you to use some of them to be able to make a crossing test and see if the trouble remain.

There is different type of pairing in this menu, but the one without synchronisation could give an idea of the trouble.

With this phone you can send the whole phonebook to the kit with the object push, if this phone has an auto synchro.

Describe your How to connect Nokia E71 to Parrot car hands free kit.

On Nokia switch on Bluetooth. Then switch on Parrot and set it to pairing mode(you didn't specified your model so can't go further). Then on Nokia press under Option Pair new device? and let it find Parrot. When connection made it will ask you for paasword(usually 0000 or 1111,but may be different-see manual). Both codes must be the same. Then save and enable automatic pairing. Done.

I can't connect Verizon Gleam SCH-U700 to Parrot CK3100

This solution came from Parrot Tech Support and it worked for me:

We were able to get the two to pair using the following steps:
The phone will stay saying pairing, then the parrot will say pairing successful, pull the battery on the phone, when you turn it back on, the phone will display PARROT CK3100 WANTS TO PAIR, ACCEPT? Say YES.
