Question about Toshiba Satellite P105-S9722 Notebook
Attach the new drive as instructed.
Make sure the notebook has an internet connection and switch it on normally. Windows should recognize the unit and ask you for a driver. Click install automatically. It may then download the driver and install it.
If none of this happens, keeping the internet connection open, right-click My Computer/ Hardware/Device manager and the DVD will appear there with a question mark meaning it is uninstalled. Click on it and choose to install a new driver. Windows should do the rest. Good luck.
There may be a third way to download the driver from Toshiba and install it manually.
