Question about Printers & Copiers

I cannot change language that the printer insists on using. i need english and it is stuck on german no matter how many times i hit the arrows one way or the other. model 5400. thank you.

    If this is a Lexmark printer:



    Here are instructions to fix:




    Make sure your printer is connected to the PC via a USB cable.

    Instructions


    1. Go to ftp://ftp.lexmark.com/driver/inkjet_drivers/Utilities/ClrNVRam.EXE.

    2. Download the ClrNVRam.EXE file and save it on your hard drive:

    3. Double-click on the fileto execute it.

How to change language


Turn on the printer.
"Ready" on panel display.
Press "Menu" key.
Press the Up or Down Arrow key to show "Language."
Press the Enter key. "Language: *German" shows on the panel display.

Change language from german to english on p3015


Hit the Menu button.

Arrow down to the 6th menu option which is Configure device. Hit OK.

Arrow down to the 3rd Option which is System Setup. Hit OK.

Arrow down to the last option. Hit OK and you can change the language to English. Hit OK.

How do I change the language on my printer from


Please follow the steps given below:

1. On the Operating Panel press Options (13 times) until LANGUAGE appears on the LCD screen.
2. Press the right arrow to scroll through the list of languages.
3. Press Select when the correct language is displayed on the LCD screen. This is now your default language.
4. When you power on and off your Lexmark X6100 Series, the default language is the one which remains.
The languages available and supported are the following:
English
French
German
Spanish
Italian
Dutch
Brazilian - Portuguese
Polish
Russian (PYCCKHH)
Greek (E^^HNIK^A)

Change LCD language to English on Brother MFC-3240C


Gud Day!
Power on your printer. Press the menu of your printer then sect the arrow down or up to select the language menu. press ok if u have seen language then go to option select from german to english.

Xerox Phaser 8560 - Changing Menu from German to English Language


To select the default language on the Control Panel:
  1. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button on the Control Panel to select [Printer Setup] on the Display Screen, and then press the [OK] button.
  2. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button to select [Control Panel Setup], and then press the [OK] button.
  3. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button to select [Language], and then press the [OK] button.
  4. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button to select the required language, and then press the [OK] button.
  5. Press the [Back] button, located to the left of the 'Up' and 'Down' buttons, three times to return to the Main Menu.
To select the default language using CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS):
  1. Open an Internet web browser on the workstation.
  2. Enter the IP Address of the printer in the Address field, and then press [Enter] on the keyboard. The CentreWare Internet Services window will be displayed.
  3. Click on [Properties]. The Properties window will be displayed
  4. Click on the [General] folder on the left, and then select [Printer Defaults].
  5. Under the User Preferences section, select the language from the Set Control Panel Language pull-down.
  6. Click on the [Save Changes] button.
  7. Click on the [X] in the upper, right corner to close
If you are talking about the driver menu you have to delete and reload the driver with the english

My language has changed to german and i cant get back to english


have a look in the printer properties you may find the language setting in there

All the on screan instructions are in German,


press menu then arrow-up button. Display should read 0. Setup. press arrow-up several times until SPRACHE (Language). press menu. press arrow-up until Englisch appears. press menu to confirm.

Change LCD screen back to English


Issue: How do I change the language setting of the LCD?
Solution: Change the display language settings (MP170)
LCD Appears in Japanese (or other foreign language) Upon powering on the machine for the first time, the LCD will prompt to select a display language. If a language other than English is selected, the setting can be changed by following these steps.
  1. Ensure the machine is powered on.
  2. Press the <Menu> button as many times as necessary to display [SYSTEM SETTINGS].
    1. From the Copy mode standby screen, press <Menu> 7 times.
    2. From the Scan mode standby screen, press <Menu> 1 time.
    3. From the Memory card mode standby screen, press <Menu> 6 - 12 times.
  3. Use the right arrow twice to select [OTHERS] and then press the <OK> button.
  4. Use the right arrow three times to select [LANGUAGE SETTING] and then press the <OK> button.
  5. Use the right or left arrow to select the appropriate language and then press <OK>. Choose from the following language settings.
    1. JAPANESE
    2. ENGLISH
    3. GERMAN
    4. FRENCH
    5. ITALIAN
    6. SPANISH
