Looking for a water fill sensor for a fisher paykel gw11 The machine starts the cycle just fine, but when starts to fill, the water just trickles out and both water lines are open, whats wrong?

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
(sorry if this does not fully answer your question!)

If you have checked that the hot and cold water taps are turned on fully and the hoses are not kinked or squashed at the back, it is worth while checking both the hot and cold water inlet filters. Turn the taps off and remove both hoses at the washer end. Inside each inlet port there is normally a little filter which should just slide out. Clean if necessary and replace each one and the hoses. If after turning the taps back on there is no improvement, the problem is symptomatic of a malfunctioning hot or cold water control valve. Sorry but it needs a service call and a check that it isn't the control PCB ;-0(

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck,
John C

When connecting the machine to the taps, do you need to connect the machine to hot from the geyser or the washing machine makes the water to be hot

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
I think you will find that all washers are able to heat water. If they are hot and cold fill, they use the heater if the hot water supplied is not hot enough for the particular wash. If they are cold fill only then they need the heater for all non-cold washes.
If you purchase the washer you are thinking of and it is cold fill only, it will have only one inlet hose, the cold water one and it is a straight forward installation- hose from washer screw into cold supply tap.
If it is hot and cold fill you have a choice- either go to the expense of plumbing hot water to it OR purchase a 'Y' 'tap' adapter. The adapter screws onto the cold supply (by the 'bottom' of the Y) and the hot and cold hoses which go to the washer are screwed into the (top) 2 ends of the 'Y'. The washer opens its hot valve, gets the only water supply which is cold through what it thinks is the hot hose and heats it up accordingly. When it wants cold it opens its cold valve and gets the cold water through what it thinks is its cold hose- which it is!
I hope this clarifies the situation for you and if it has please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Turned on machine MW059AU top loader and will not fill with water. Any ideas?

Hi just read your posting.1st turn off the taps to the machine and remove the 2 inlet hoses at the machine end.Now put these ends of the hoses into a bucket and turn the taps on a little bit to see if you are getting any water out of them.Make sure you note where the hot and cold hoses go back.Check the little filters where the hoses connected to the machine to see if they are blocked. If you have water coming out of the hoses and the filters are clear then refit your hoses to the machine and turn the taps on.Now try a hot fill then a cold fill. Now reply back and tell me how it went. Then I can help you rectify this fault on your machine.Looking forward to your reply.

Washing machine is not filling up when set on cold the water just dribbles in what is causing this?

Hi Mark, just read your posting.1st turn the cold tap off and remove the cold inlet hose at the machine end.Check the water valve filter and see if it is blocked. If it is, clean it with a small brush and refit the hose.Do the same for the tap end and check for blockages. After you have refitted hoses and turned the water back on try a cycle. If the problem still exists then you have a faulty cold water valve. Please reply on how you got on and please supply the model number which is on a sticker on the back of the machine, top right.Looking forward to your reply.

The cold water inlet is slow to fill machine but the hot water inlet works fine

Hi just read your posting.Could you please supply the model of your hoover and tell me if it is a front or top loader. The fault on your machine is due to a faulty cold water valve or dirty inlet filter.Turn the cold tap off and remove the cold water hose from the tap end and check to see if the little filter at the end of the hose is blocked. If it is, clean it and put back the hose to the tap and try a wash cycle. Please reply with additional information and to tell me how you got on with the filter.

Water drips fron the inlet nozzel after the cycle is complete. Both hot and cold settings from what I can tell.

Hi just read your posting. Now try this,After the cycle is finished 1st turn off the cold tap then leave for 1 hour. Then see if the leak has stopped. If it has not stopped then turn the hot tap off and leave for 1 hour. Then see if the leak has stopped.Whichever tap you turned off and the leak stopped that is the water valve which is faulty. Please try this test and reply back which tap you turned off to stop the leak.
