Question about Televison & Video

Universal remotes My original remote stopped working. Somedays it would, then th next day it wouldn't. Threw it away or actually I threw against the wall and it broke. I have bought 5 universal remotes. Three I was unable to program and get to work. Took them back. Two actually worked for a day, then they quit, then they worked, then they quit. Took them back. Batteries were fresh, new. Must be the tv. Now I'm without one. Help! I may throw the TV out. The model is TVK131, S/L# J42172535, Oct., 2001.

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Cannot get the tv into 'video1' (or ' video2') mode

Unfortunately you need the original remote. There is still a good chance you can find a Sanyo universal remote. Check your local Circuit city or Super K mart or Walmart and look inthe electronics sections. I have often seen the Sanyo universal remote! And yes it will have the options you are looking for. Good Luck!

Universal Jumbo Remote

one way is to buy another remote, just like the one you have, don't throw away ANYTHING, keep your receipt, look at the directions or maybe copy them, and then return the remote to where you bought it and get your money back (or credit, whatever) and tell them your significant other got a better one.
