Question about Mitsubishi Televison & Video

Ihave a ws-55613 it began shutting off recently once a day mabee, progresivly getting worse ,now you can watch a few hours and it may start flipping off every 5 minutes .

Your power board or high voltage capacitor has gone bad. Please consult with a repair professional for this one. Both those components are extremely hazardous.

1. "wavy" may mean a signal problem inside the set--are you seeing colors out of position or skewed around letters etc?

2. Does it do it when a DVD is played? (this will rule out certain things).

I replaced the 4 capacitors on the DM board and got about 6 months out of my Mistubishi WS-55613 projection television. Now it is doing the same thing again with the blinking green light and no power. I...

For their cost it's probably worth trying to replace the capacitors again.

If there's space around the capacitors then I suggest you get high voltage rating i.e if the existing ones are 16V then get 25V.

Also worth checking for any other damaged components or scorch marks on the PCB.

I have a Mitsubishi WS-55613 55 in. Rear Projection HDTV. First started having green lines in it. They would go away after it warmed up. Then about two weeks ago it would lose the picture. It made a sound...

I had similar symptoms with mine. It's probably the DM board. The caps are known to go bad, but yours probably exploded. DM is the tallest board under a shield on the left as you look from the back. You must remove the back cover, and the plastic heat deflector, and slide out the chassis to lift up.
Manual is here. Repair by pros is uneconomical.

Mitsubishi model WS-55613 screen goes off and on

there is a 9 mvolt regulator on the signal board right behind the input board. that could need resoldering or maybe replacing it should be the IC9A05
