The graded action is only that there are different counterweights on the various keys. They are a sort of "J" shaped pieces of steel that vary in length. I don''t know how the graded part could stop working, as they just vary the key "feel" across the keyboard. Are you saying this key "feel" has been lost?

To lower the action on an acoustic guitar:

Usually just the saddle needs reducing.

1. Remove strings (or you may be able to just loosen them). Remove saddle, sand down the bottom a little at a time. Restring and check action.

The action can be set as low as poss without any fret buzzing or note choking on all strings and on all frets.

2. Repeat 1

If the action remains too high then there are other techniques.

My Clavinova is about 15 years old. It was playing fine, then middle C started sounding tin-like, then sound stopped for the entire instrument. Can this be fixed? I live in South-Central PA.

I am sure it can be repaired. First thing is to check the power supply. Here is a servuice manual for a CLP380... You did not mention the modelk number of your unit. I may be able to find exact manual.

Scroll; down to "get manual" and click to download. IGNORE other download links.

I have a Mega Pixel LED strip light and it just stopped working when plugged in there is no response. The fuses do not appear to be blown. Do you know what the most likely problem with the unit is. I will...

Check the dip switch setting... they can get bumped. You have not told us if you are using DMX or a standalone mode. The little switch handles can get bumped to "half-mast" and not be obvious so look carefully.

Turned on by B200 keyboard and when I pressed a note it started making a high pitch noise with a lot of re-verb. Then it stopped making any sound at all. Not even when using headphones.

Had a similar problem with Yamaha P-250, which had been dropped, causing a small PCB (which was held to the Motherboard via a small edge-connector) to come out of the connector slightly & thus give poor contact.

Pushing the connector back restored normal operation.

If this advice is helpful, a FixYa rating is a great reward for my efforts to help you. Cheers.

Loose keys on my wonderful Technics digital piano

You would be very surprised of how few moving parts are in side one of these keyboards. There is no fix to the action, trust me. play the day lights out of it until it stops then get a new one. Have some fun and explore, if you find an old one that is shot, take it a part and you will see what I mean. These units are really a disposable instrument.
I hope this doesn't disappoint you . I hope it helped. Keep on rockin in the free world. DFD
