I have a LG DLE3733 elec dryer that won't start up. The power comes on, the check filter light is on and when you push the start button it just clicks. Thoughts?

What is the CCU and where is it found? The rubber seal around the lint trap started coming loose so I think that too much lint got into the machine....I read on other posts that they thought it would be a sensor, especially since the check filter light will not go off.

One more thing, When you turn the power on it says Check Filter, then it says Cooling

Had it fixed it was an excessive amount of lint in the dryer caused from the exhaust hose not being firmly seated around the exhaust tube of the dryer. The lint was being blown through that area into the dryer, where it tripped a lint sensor. Thanks Jerry

Run the diagnostics tests on the unit from the "tech" diagnostics sheet inside the units case near the upper area,if this does not help, then start by powering the unit down at the wall plug if so equipped,or the homes power panel circuit breaker, then remove each and every cable connection (especially the ribbon cables) from the C.C.U. then replace each connection if they look O.K. ,then try re-powering the unit and if still the same, then replace the C.C.U. if no change in operation

LG DLE3733 loud vibration from bottom

If that vibration is while running it may be from an imbalance of the clothes in the drum. Open the door, when the drum stops reorder the clothes around the drum and see if the rumbling stops.

Dryer check filter light keeps blinking and dryer will not start cleaned lint filter and nothing happened display on control board blinks when dryer is turned on and that's about it can you assist dyer...

There is a reminder light to "Check Lint Filter" near the lower right of the cycle knob. It will come on every time the power button is pushed. After cleaning the lint filter, if the "check lint screen" light does not go off, it is likely that the touch pad control will need replacement.

LG dryer DLE 3733S control panel inop but light on in drum. 3 years old intermittent problem, is this electronics panel going bad? if so, do we replace PCB Main or PCB Assembly? Thanks!

Check the power to the display panel after you have it removed. If there is no power check the lines to the control, If the power is present with no action on the panel then you will have to replace the board. It may be as simple as cleaning the board off, since it has been a intermittent problem in the past. hopes this helps Tim

IT READS tEl in the timing area

tEI means that the thermistor has failed and needs to be replaced.  The filter light always comes on as reminder to check the filter before starting.  That cannot be changed.
