It sounds like the left button is jammed down, or the joystick is stuck to the left. The only way to fix this is to take the faceplate off and replacing the joystick module.

My psp won't play games.. i think its bricked... my psp 2000 is once a 5.00m33-6 version, but i planned to change it to 5.50 but the man in the mall just turned it into 5.03mhu, therefore, i myself made...

If it is bricked, it will not boot up at all, it will hang at a black screen. Only method of repair is to take into consideration any configuration that has not been done. Such as games being run as 1.5 mode instead of the current firmware, ect. If so, reflashing is your best bet.

Changed cover on psp from black to white. When playing a game characters seem to wonder off in directions with out touching the psp controls?

Check that when you changed the case, no buttons were possibly caught anywhere that would cause them to function without moving. Also check that when you pulled it apart and put back together, the pads stayed in a centre position, because if they are to the left and you turn on the unit, it will detect the centre being to the left, as opposed to being in the centre. I hope this helps you. Good Luck.

Psp Analog stick malfunction

Sounds to me like the analog contacts need cleaning. I would take it to a shop or a specialist... If you have the proper tools you can do this yourself but from personal experience these can be hard to get contacts lined up correctly after taking them apart.

My psp dosen't work well

have you modded the psp in anyway? are you trying to use homebrew apps? if you are trying to use a umd and you have modified anything other than stock then you need to clock your psp back to the factory level because the voltage is dropping too low from the umd reader activating and the strain the cpu is putting on the battery you could also try resetting everything to factory defaults afterall this is what the games are designed for

Directional Button and L Button Problem and another problem.

I think there might be a problem with your configuration, remove all plugin then try to restore to default setting on setting menu. and/or if your psp installed Custom firmware, the umd speed are set to fast. do this via recovery menu (hold R trigger while turn on psp). you may need to fix L button if it is stuck. you may consoder sending it back to Sony for repair. You can call SONY support at 1-800-345-7669. hope this helps.
