T.V. all of a sudden started changing inputs all by itself. I was watching it one day and the menu screen popped up and started scrolling through input options then selecting one at random and changing. I never touched the remote!!! I tried turning it off and turning it back on and i still happened. I took the batteries out of the remote and it still happened. I even unplugged the tv for a while and plugged it back in and still doing the same thing. It happens every couple of minutes, any adive?

The only thing you can do is replace the Main Board, which will be about 1/2 of what you paid for the set. I don't recommend it.

SOURCE: Display continueuly changes

Unplug your device for about 30 minutes to let the circuitry reset itself.
If it works normally after that, it means a hardware part(s) is overheating inside, more likely a power supply is starting to fail and does not provide the proper voltages for the microprocessor.

How to program a vizio tv without a remote vizio

Upon first start you should be prompted. If not, you will find a series of buttons on the TV itself; power, channel up down, volume up/down, input and menu. Hit the menu button and the menu will pop up. Scroll up and down with channel button, select and controls are the volume. either that or you can get a Samsung phone that has an app built into it called watch on, which has a universal remote that works for virtually everything. Happy surfing.

My input source screen keeps popping up and scrolling through the options - once I select source (example TV) the TV will come on then the input source comes back on and keeps scrolling on its own

My new 4K Vizio 60" M60-C3 started scrolling through input channels on it's own and after a minute would stop and "land" on an input, then I would have to change it to the correct one. Then the volume started "racing" to 100 making it impossible to watch. Vizio repairman came and replaced a small board about 1.5 in. x 5 in. and it is back working again. It fell within the 1 year warranty, so no charge, and he suggested I go back to Wal-Mart where I bought it and spend $59 on the extended warranty. I am certainly going to try and do that.

The menu pops up on starting and continues to scroll. The front panel buttons on the TV do not do what they are supposed to do (i.e. Vol button changes input option, etc.)

i have the gtw-p42m102 and it did the scrolling thing and i had the image board dpwb11393-1g-l changed and it worked fine for 2 years. Now it made a pop like a firecracker and i am working in it now.

Television was fine, all of a sudden blue screen came up, no signal came on, checked all the cords, nothing came loose. It won't change channels or anything.

if you can see TV's on screen menu pls attach another device, ie dvd player, make sure correct input is selected from tv settings menu and if you can watch the player than either your cable/satellite/etc does not have any signal, tv input has been changed or tv tuner could be damaged.
