Replace the Video Card after first making sure the card is fully seated in the Slot. If you added a different card to the expansion slot just below the video card move it to another slot.

Hp pavilion 6648c no signal to monitor

Make sure the cable is in good on the back of the computer and on the monitor. If the cables are in good, then either the monitor is bad or the video card is bad. Try using another monitor on the computer. If the other monitor gets a No Signal then the Video Card is bad. If the other monitor shows a display and works, then the original monitor is bad.

Hp pavilion 763 no video signal

Hook a spare monitor to the pc, if picture okay! there is a problem with the HP monitor. But if both show the same symptom it is the Video Graphics Card that is defective in the computer, "a thought" change the video cord from the computer to the monitor to be sure.

Hp pavilion monitor not starting up

That will happen if the monitor isn't getting a video signal from the computer. Are you sure your computer is actually starting up properly? Are you hearing the normal Windows startup sounds? If the computer and Windows seem to be working properly, the video card or integrated video may have failed. Have you tried another monitor to verify that the computer is working?

If the monitor is in fact bad, it would be better to replace it than to try a repair. New LCD monitors are quite inexpensive and you'll gain lots of desk space.

HP desktop monitor problem

hi try this ,,,
  1. Ensure the video cable is connected (and connected to the correct video port).
  2. Turn off the monitor using the monitor's power button and then restart the monitor.
  3. Cycle the power on the monitor as follows:
  4. Turn off the monitor. The power light on the monitor should be off. Leave the computer turned on.
  5. Unplug the power cord.
  6. Wait 5 seconds.
  7. Plug in the power cord.
  8. Press the power button on the monitor to turn on the monitor. One of two things happens:
    1. The image from the computer displays on the monitor and you can use the computer again. This indicates that the monitor was unable to detect that the computer had awakened from suspend mode. Turn the monitor off when it is not being used or disable suspend mode. For some computers, updating the BIOS corrects these types of suspend problems.
    2. The power light on the monitor comes on but the screen displays one of the messages again. The monitor is not receiving a video signal from the computer that it can detect and use. Continue using these steps to adjust the Windows display resolution to the Monitor's native (default) resolution
    3. Connect the monitor to another computer that you know is working to determine if the monitor should be serviced or replaced:
      • If the monitor displays an image from another computer, you know that the monitor works. Troubleshoot the video connection and graphics adapter on the computer.
      • If the monitor remain blank when connected to another computer, the monitor signal processing hardware may be bad. The monitor should be repaired or replaced.
hope it will work for u .. little_angel

Supplying power to the monitor to get it to work

I think what you need is a "D" shell connector.. see if the one that fits your PC Power Supply will fit into the Monitor.. if so then purchase another the same. It's called a "D Shell" Power Cord.
