Question about Cobra 148 GTL 120-Channels Base CB Radio
First of all, conditions need to be right to "hear far away". The current skip conditions favour daytime for listening long distance on 11 meters (cb). For this, you will not need an antenna up very high. Indeed, I have an Antron 99 mounted about 12 feet off the ground and have made contacts over 4,000 km away!

Hello there firstly you will need to raise your antenna has high as possible and buy a preamplifier this will raise the weak stations and give better signals hope this helps
