Question about HP Computers & Internet
It's often (usually) the case that manufacturers get custom versions of motherboards made for them. Sometimes they want unusual power supply or front panel cable connections, or they get specially modified hardware. Unless you can find documentation on the computer maker's site, a user manual as such won't exist. Sometimes you can find the manual for a similar retail version on the motherboard maker's site, but it obviously won't be exact.
If you're trying to use one of these boards to build a new computer, you may be wasting your time. New retail motherboards are cheap, and you'll have all the documentation and drivers right there in the box. If you have an HP system with a bad board and are trying to repair it, you're best off finding a replacement board on eBay or from another online source. Then you can simply swap out the bad board. Or you can find a new motherboard that takes the same processor and RAM, put that in the existing case if the power supply connections work out. Unfortunately, because of the possibility of non-standard connections and lack of documentation, this isn't always simple plug-and-play.
Good luck solving whatever trouble you're facing, and thanks for using Fixya!
