Question about Televison & Video
With that particular model the fuse blowing issue was usually caused by bad convergence IC's. 9 times out of 10 if we were repairing an Error Code 22, we would also have to replace the convergence IC's STK392-570.
There is a website that you might want to check out. We are not affiliated with them in any way, but it would make an easy one stop place for you to get all of the material you would need to take care of your error code 22 issue. Here is the link:
This link will take you to their site where they will sell you a kit which includes the convergence chips and resistors, the fuses, thermal paste, photo instruction manual, soldering instruction manual, and support for all of the above.
If you would prefer to you can download the service manual separately from any number of sites. Then you have to track down all of the parts, and so on. One very important note is this: There are lethal voltages and current inside your TV, and they must be dealt with accordingly! If you have never done this type of repair before I would suggest doing some research on the web regarding the securing of those voltages and currents in the TV. The service manual will normally show you the procedure in the first few pages. If you decide to go for the all in one kit, they will also describe and show the procedure. Make absolutely sure that you understand the procedure before you open up the TV. I have seen men shot across the room because they did not secure the power correctly.
Good luck with whichever way you decide to go and thank you for using our service.
