My dad gave me his ezbook pc portable netbook computer. he bought this on line for $250 with no return policay and I am afraid he was taken advantage of. he was never able to connect to the wireless network for internet. There is no instruction book with this computer. When i click on Internet Explorer it says "cannot find server or DNS error". can you help?

This sounds like it could be more then just a factory restore issue. chances are that the "Air card" could be fried. best to take it to Apple for a check up and figure out if it is a hardware issue before resetting is and losing all your data.
There is likely a little electronics within the computer itself that serves to control the voltage supplied by the external charger. This is often a a small, slim board and is not an uncommon failure.
Any competent tech should, in a few minutes, be able to determine if this board has failed.
I would estimate the cost of replacing the board should be under $100 US unless you have high labor costs in your area.
Carefully return product to it's original box and place into nearest trash container. Consider yourself fortunate that you didn't loose more than $179.00.......What a piece of ****!!
I am afraid that I have bad news. You have more than likely broken the connector in your computer. Unless you know someone that can open the case and try to repair it you will need to send it in for repair.

now that you have done that there is a box above delete your brower history hit the little arrow and chose same as pocket pc
oh one more thing/in your advancesettings be sur to select always send urls and allow page transition
now that is done turn the wi fi on and wait for your net work then connect on it go down and hit oka.
if that dosent work read the part in the manual for connecting to the wifi
leave the settings as i gave you earlergood luck
