Question about Computers & Internet
I suspect that it is time for your machine to have a good spring clean!
First of all download and install the following tools
http://dottech.org/freebies/18008/ - follow the instructions for this one!
Once all of these are installed restart the system in safe mode - switch on the machine and keep tapping F8 - you should get an option menu - select 'safe mode with networking' follow through and then run malwarebytes - this will get rid of any nasties!.
While it is still in safe mode run my defrag too - this may take a long time - be warned!
When you restart the machine run jv16 the registry cleaner but set it to safest level and run it. Next use the registry compacter to make it tidy.
Finally start advanced syscare but untick the registry options on maintain windows and disk defrag on diagnose system
Hopefully your machine will be a lot quicker now
