I have my machine setup through my faucet. In the manual it says to hook it up to the cold water connector. My question is when I am going to wash hot water am I suppose to connect to hot water connector even though it doesn't say that or am I suppose to just leave it the way it is and just use hot water

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

I am assuming that it is cold fill only in which case you leave it on the cold supply. The machine will heat the water to the correct temperature for the wash selected ;-0)

When my Kenmore machine is running on the wash cycle warm/warm no water is coming at all. I could run the machine only with cold water even on the cycle warm/cold.

Most likely the hot water hose is plugged up, or least likely, the hot/cold valve is broken or plugged up.
Find a large container, or better yet, hook up a garden hose that you might try the faucet where the hot water is hooked up and see if water will come out of it when the washer hose is not hooked up there.
If it will not, you have a plugged up hot water pipe or the water heater shut off valve is closed.
If you get good water pressure and hot water from the faucet, look at the filter screens that are inside the ends of the hot water hose and see if any are plugged up.
There may be several.
If not, perhaps the inlet water solenoid has failed. That plastic part is where the hoses attach to the washer itself.
God bless your efforts.

How to do a cold wash on this machine?

If you intend to always use cold water go to any hardware store and get yourself a "Y" splitter for a standard water faucet. Connect this splitter to the cold water faucet on the water connection and connect both lines from the washing machine to the "Y" side of the splitter. Now you will only get cold water to both sides of you washing machine's supply lines.

My machine sometimes will not start when using just cold water. I don't have it hooked up to the hot water faucet because I don't use hot water. I switched the cold water hook up hose to the hot water...

If you live in or near a big city, there is a part you might use that might solve this problem. I bought one for my daughter's house. It is a "split hose", it is in the shape of a "Y". You screw the bottom of the "y" to the water outlet, then screw the top two legs of the "Y" to each of the connectors on the back of the machine, means you have whatever water that the Y is hooked to going in to both of the connections on the back of your machine.

Be blessed.

Hi, We have just moved and relocated our washing machine. The problem is that the wash and rinse cycles for all types of cycles is coming into the machine hot, extremely hot. What did we hook up wrong?

It's hard to say without more details, but normally, these machines have two hoses, each connecting to a seperate water spigot, one for hot, one for cold. You don't say how you hooked these hoses up, but it's possible you've crossed the hoses. It's also possible you've hooked up to a faucet that has only ONE spigot, using a "Y" connector. Take a look: You must have two spigots, and each must have a hose going to the appropriate water intake on the back of the machine. They should be marked "HOT"/"COLD" (or, possibly red for hot & blue for cold). If this is not the problem, then you have a much trickier problem that will involve bringing in a trained professional. Good luck.

Getting cold water in machine can't get hot water, have hot water through out house

Turn off the water and reverse the hot and cold water connections going into the faucet, then turn the water back on. If only hot water comes out of the unit when on cold temperature then you need to order a water valve solenoid which I suspect is the problem or wash only in cold water. They are replaced by removing the back washer panel a couple of bolts, one connector, and two hose clamps. Remember to restore the hot and cold water connections.

Faucet connector

If I am reading this correctly you want to connect washer to the faucet inputs. This requires washer hose kit at any hardware store. Kit has two hoses,<simular to garden hose> they have double end that will connect to both washer and faucet.Make sure when hooking up you hook cold to cold and hot to hot,< washer has C and H to know which is which.

Hooking my washing machine to the kitchen faucet

See that your hose does not have any clogging in the filter screens; connect to the cold. careful with the threadings; turn on faucet & check for any leaks........start washing. Will tell you later how to get a manual. Regarding hot water, your machine can heat it if it has provision.
